IPv6 will never be available for the 7960. It is planned for the new versions of the phone.

An expensive phone can only be motivated by being able to use the LCD
screen for information services. This imply having the phone on the
public Internet (implementing NAT correctly is too tiresome) and in
many cases for new deployment today, that imply IPv6 support is needed.
