(1) Short problem description:
Documentation on how registration with two proxies work
(2) Longer problem description (what happens):
Information is missing about how registration
with two proxies actually work.
(3) Possible solution (what did you expect):
Information in the documentation on how this works.
(5) Workaround used currently (if applicable):
It is possible to register the SIP
phone with more than one proxy. To do this go into the phone specific
configuration
file (SIPmacaddress.cnf) and put the two proxy addresses under the
line1
and line2. And reload the phone. The flow of registration is from the
phone
to the first proxy, and then between proxys. The phone does NOT
register
separately with each proxy. It registers with one, and then that proxy
registers with the second proxy.
(7) Would you classify this as:
(C) Bug/malfunction: Ok to
deploy with workaround (see 5)
