The ability to get TAPI events from desktop PCs and push them directly
into the phones would be useful (or vice versa.) I have found
several clients who asked about this feature. This would in
many instances eliminate much of the difficulty of building tools to
gather contact book information to centralize call management or drive
desktop applications. I think only a very small sub-set of TAPI
features need to be delivered, just enough to make it useful from a
screen-pop or dial-out functionality requirement.
